Your Amazing Child is a family-owned business dedicated to supporting and enriching the homeschooling journey.
We believe children thrive when learning happens in community, surrounded by positive relationships, encouragement, and meaningful opportunities.
Our mission is to create affordable, high-quality experiences that enhance your family's homeschool journey. From coffee and craft afternoons to choirs, Eisteddfod opportunities, and supervised drop-off days, every program is designed to inspire children while supporting homeschooling parents.
As the founder of Your Amazing Child, we believe God has called us to bring light, joy, and hope into what can sometimes feel like an isolating season for homeschooling families. This vision shapes everything we do as we seek to create welcoming spaces where both children and parents can flourish.
We also understand the practical realities of homeschooling, including the pressures of balancing family life, finances, and work. That's why we are committed to providing opportunities that give children enriching experiences while allowing parents time to work, recharge, or simply rest. We believe that when parents are supported and refreshed, they are better equipped to lead their children's learning with confidence and joy.
At Your Amazing Child, our heart is to walk alongside homeschooling families, helping them build connection, create lasting memories, and enjoy a thriving homeschool experience together.
Nurturing Children. Encouraging Families.
Building Community.
Meet our Founder
Hi - I'm Jennie Marcus, founder of Your Amazing Child.
For more than twenty years, I had the privilege of working across the education sector as a classroom teacher, curriculum advisor, and Head of Junior School.
Throughout my career, one passion has remained constant: helping children discover their strengths, grow in confidence, and flourish. I have always believed that every child learns differently, and that education is at its best when it recognises and nurtures those unique differences.
Today, I am in my fifth year of homeschooling my own child—a journey that has been both rewarding and transformative. Like many homeschooling parents, I have experienced the joys, challenges, questions, and victories that come with choosing a different path. It has deepened my appreciation for the incredible commitment parents make every day to invest in their children's education.
I believe homeschooling is a courageous decision. It is a choice to align your deeply held values and beliefs with the way you educate and raise your children. That commitment deserves encouragement, community, and practical support.
I created Your Amazing Child because I believe a new space is emerging for homeschooling families—a space where parents no longer have to walk the journey alone. My vision is to provide affordable, enriching opportunities that build connection, inspire children, and support families as they create a homeschool experience that is both sustainable and joyful.
It is a privilege to walk alongside other homeschooling families, and I look forward to welcoming you into the Your Amazing Child community.
What our Families Say
"Our daughter has absolutely loved going to the Drop Off Day each week. We are so blessed to have Jennie and her team supporting her with developing friendships and giving her new experiences."
Bree F.
"Our little one has been attending the half day drop off days and has shown great growth in independence and communication. She will always come home raving about her time with friends and shares about her learning experiences with excitement and joy. The team working with these precious children are phenomenal. They are dedicated, thoughtful and caring. I would highly recommend this to anyone hoping to support their child's development, skills and learning, who are eager to engage in extra alternative educational pathways (outside of mainstream schooling)."
